EMS Tutoring (English, Maths, Science) is the Educational Arm of Friends of the Caribbean (FOTC), a UK charity group. We are not a franchise operation, but caring educators specialising in academic excellence. Serving primary and secondary school students needing academic assistance.

About EMS Tutoring
Friends of the Caribbean (FOTC) was established twelve years ago and, in 2010, gained charity status. In the past, we have supported other charities, such as Diabetes UK, Prostate Cancer UK, Willen Hospice, Haiti Earthquake Appeal, and others.
Our organisation, in partnership with Stantonbury Campus, has successfully delivered mentoring to youngsters within the 10-18 age group in Milton Keynes. With this experience, we extended our influence in education with the aim to promote and improve academic performances, mainly among ethnic minorities, and low-performing and disadvantaged students in the community.
The goal of EMS Tutoring is to provide support, motivation, and inspiration for our students, so that they can advance into higher education, enter top UK universities, and pursue professional avenues such as engineering, business, medicine, etc. In 2015, we launched our full tutoring programme, providing academic assistance to students from KS2 to GCSE, offering them tutoring in English, Maths, and Science, as well as preparing primary students for the 11+ entry exams.
We know that many young students – particularly those from ethnic minority backgrounds – face numerous challenges when it comes to academic achievement. Declining academic results in the UK, combined with COVID lockdown issues around schooling, mean that there is a multitude of difficulties for our young learners. But we’re proud that our organisation supports students of all backgrounds, helping them get the academic results that they deserve.
EMS Tutoring has grown into a flourishing centre for tutoring – and we hope to continue that into 2023. At the moment, those who use our service will be provided with superb one-to-one tutoring assistance and help at all levels of learning; including 11+, SATs, KS2, KS3, GCSE, and A Level.
